CMC has recently introduced two landscaping items into its range of products: grids to create lawns for vehicle parking/circulation and supports for roof gardens.


Garden Grids
These are HDPE interlocking square-shaped grids which provide a ‘skeleton’ to the lawn, allowing vehicle circulation on it. They are easy to assemble into a single element with great stability and flexibility. They can be used for existing lawns (temporary laying) or new lawns (permanent laying). When used for new lawns, they allow water conservation and proper grass growth, due to the presence of a channel network that retains water and nutrients. They also provide stability to the soil. They are resistant to degradation by chemicals and microorganisms.


Roof Garden
These are plastic molds on which roof gardens can be created on flat or sloped roofs. They are easy to install, due to a practical attachment system. They have small water tanks to reduce the need for irrigation while allowing a high level of rainwater drainage. They do not damage waterproofing systems, provide thermal insulation, can bear very heavy loads and allow the passage of pipes beneath them. They are resistant to degradation by chemicals and microorganisms.
