On June 25, 2010, CMC and MAPEI held a technical seminar at the Monroe Hotel. After a brief introduction by Mr. Maurice Karam (CMC’s Managing Director), Mr. Enrico Geronimi (from MAPEI’s Technical Department) started with a brief discussion on MAPEI’s contribution to sustainable buildings, followed by a thorough lecture on various MAPEI systems (including waterproofing, concrete-repair, adhesives and grouts). Mr. Pierre Bou Assi (CMC’s Project Sales Manager) presented Lebanese case studies. Demonstration of product application was performed after the lecture, by Mr. Giorgio Pumoni (MAPEI’s Technician). Attendees included Contractors, Consultants, Engineers, Architects and retailers. The seminar was followed by a lunch.
